What is Temporalis Toxin?
Temporalis toxin is an injection of botulinum toxin type A into the temporalis, the fan-shaped chewing muscle at the side of the head. None of the regulatory records cited on this page lists the temporalis as an indication — not the U.S. labels for BOTOX Cosmetic or XEOMIN, not the Korean MFDS records for Nabota or Meditoxin — so this is an off-label use.
